Lihua Peng is a postdoctoral fellow at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). He received his bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees from HUST in 2017 and 2025, respectively. Since April 2025, he has been conducting postdoctoral research at the Precision Instrument Research Center (PIRC), led by Professor Shiyuan Liu. His primary research interests include precision optical measurement technology and instrumentation for thin films, and advanced material characterization. As a key member, he has participated in projects funded by the NSFC, including Key and General Programs, and the Hubei Province Key Research Program. He has published 5 SCI-indexed journal papers and 2 EI-indexed conference papers, and has applied for 7 patents. He has presented his work at multiple international academic conferences, receiving a first prize for an oral presentation on one occasion.
